Will Ashley and Dustin Yu shared that the friendship formed by the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemates has remained strong even after the season ended.
"Nakakatuwa kasi kahit na po meron kaming kanya-kanyang buhay nagyon dito sa outside world eh hindi pa rin namin nakakalimutan talaga kumustahin ang isa't isa. Kumbaga nandun pa rin po 'yung pagiging isang pamilya namin kahit na may iba't iba kaming pinagkaka-busyhan. Hindi po talaga nawala 'yung love namin para sa isa't isa," Will remarked in an interview with Bianca Gonzalez on the TFC show BRGY.
Dustin echoed the sentiment, saying their friendship has become even more exciting now that they are all working on various projects. "I would say mas naging exciting paglabas kasi ngayon marami na kaming pinagkakabusyhan pero tuwing nagkikita kami ang dami naming pinagkwe-kwentuhan. As in mas marami naming nashe-share, mas marami kaming natututunan sa isa't isa, mas marami kaming nadi-discover sa isa't isa," he highlighted.
Dustin also emphasized that true friendship means supporting one another’s growth. "For me 'yun naman ang essence ng friendship nagro-grow kayo in different ways pero 'pag nagkita kayo genuine pa rin. Siyempre may foundation na kami nabuo sa Bahay ni Kuya. Ang hirap naman sayangin 'yun so ayun support lang talaga sa lahat and every time magkakasama kami sinusulit na talaga namin," he remarked.
Meanwhile, Will also spoke fondly about his barkada formed inside the PBB house with Klarisse De Guzman, Mika Salamanca, Shuvee Etrata, and Esnyr dubbed as "Pamilya de Guzman."
"Nakakatuwa po talaga. Wala po talagang nagbago sa amin kung paano namin itrato 'yung isa't isa. Kahit sobrang busy nung schedules, i-text mo lang 'yung isa, sasagot na agad. Sasabihan mo lang ng problema mo ico-comfort ka na agad. So nakakatuwa kasi nakahanap talaga ako ng totoong pamilya," he relayed.
Both Will and Dustin star in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry Love You So Bad alongside fellow PBB housemate Bianca de Vera.
As per previous report by ABS-CBN, Dustin expressed his joy to be working with Will and Bianca again.
"Si Bianca kasi nakabuo kami ng special relationship inside PBB. And then now, na magka-work na kami, it makes it more special. Mas nakaka-excite kasi bago eh, first time naming mag-work together. So iba, iba. Kasi sa PBB pinagku-kwentuhan lang namin [na] ‘sana magka-work tayo together paglabas’ and now it’s a dream come true to us. Nakakatuwa. Now thinking about it parang isa siya sa blessing talaga. Malaking impact for me," he said.
The actor went on: "Working with Will, alam naman natin si Will matagal na sa industriya. I’m super grateful and honored na makatrabaho siya. For sure marami na siyang experiences."
Meanwhile, Bianca De Vera expressed her gratitude to their fellow PBB housemates for supporting the movie.
"Parang most of them actually magpapa-block screening, which is really nice. Kasi kahit hindi naman namin hinihingi or hindi rin naman kailangan, but they still do their best to support. And they message us from time to time, kahit nung nasa taping kami, they always ask us how we are. So yeah, their support is always there. Hindi naman nawawala," she shared.
