Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria revealed that she welcomed another adopted dog into her growing fur family. In her Instagram post earlier this week, the fur parent shared how she decided to bring Putol to her home in an instant.
Jodi has been an advocate of adopting animals and has been vocal about it on her social media accounts.

The Kapamilya actress shared how she would always see Putol on the CCTV where he played with the other dogs in the morning and slept alone at night after scavenging for food. She recalled their first time meeting when she visited and how welcoming he was to her.
“When I came to visit the house, I finally met this furbaby face to face. He didn’t know me. But I knew him. He welcomed me as if he owned the house 🤣 I instantly had a connection with him,” she shared.
When she took him inside the house for a couple of days, Putol received treats and some of the food she ate. She then noticed how he was missing some parts of his body and had injuries to the left side of his face.

“I noticed he was missing a toe nail, his right eye had a puncture wound and I don’t know what caused it, he had serious injuries on the left side of his face, with skin and fur peeling from an unknown trauma,” she said.
While Jodi admitted that she pondered if she would take him home due to her other adopted pets that may not get along with him, it was when she bid goodbye and he started running after her that she knew she needed to keep him.
“As the car began to move, I saw him in the side mirror running after me (mala-teleseryeng stop the car moment 🤣) And in that moment I knew I couldn’t leave him behind. The rest was history,” she ended.
In her post, Putol was spotted bonding and mixing well with her other pets as if they’ve welcomed him already in their growing family.
