Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu shared the preparations for opening her first-ever pop-up store of her business in Cebu. In her recent vlog, the actress-turned-businesswoman expressed her gratitude towards everyone who made the opening of the store possible, especially her two siblings, JP and Twinkle Chiu, and her sister’s partner, Carlo.
Kim reflected over the past months leading up to the opening of her pop-up store and admitted how she had to be strong all throughout the process.

“Did this really happen? With everything that’s been going on with my life, there were moments when it felt heavy. Moments when I questioned, moments when I had to be strong even when it was hard. But, I chose gratitude because in the middle of the storm, God surrounded me with people who stood by me, held my hand, and reminded me that I don’t have to do life alone,” she shared.
In her vlog, a long line was seen during the opening day of her pop-up store in Cebu as her fans from the province wanted to buy the bags she was selling.
Kim then shared some realizations she learned about life and betrayal–– including the tears that were shed along the way.
“Life doesn't stop because of pain, because of betrayal–– life moves forward. In every battle, the Lord is teaching me something about faith, courage, and trusting His timing. None of this happened for nothing. Every tear, every challenge, every lesson had a reason,” she reflected.

For the Kapamilya actress, the pop-up store that she opened in Cebu is a sign of her resilience and the fruit of the challenges she had to overcome just to make it possible. In the vlog, she maintained that she won’t “let anyone put her down.”
“A lot may still happen but even in uncertainty, I choose to see the light. I poured my heart, my faith, and my soul into protecting this business. I stood up for it, I fought for it, and I will never let anyone put me down,” she expressed.
“This isn’t just a pop-up store, this is resilience, this is an answered prayer, and this is a dream I refuse to give up. This is only the beginning,” she ended.
It was earlier this month when Kim filed a complaint against her sister, Lakam Chiu, after she discovered financial discrepancies in their business. The actress filed for a criminal complaint for qualified theft against her sister.
“After careful consideration and months of internal review, I have made the difficult decision to file a legal case for qualified theft against my sister, Lakambini Chiu, in relation to serious financial discrepancies discovered within my business operations. This decision did not come easily. It is one of the most painful steps I have ever taken in my life,” Kim previously shared.
