Former Miss Universe Catriona Gray shared a timely reminder about kindness amid the hectic holiday season.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the beauty queen recounted experiencing the holiday traffic firsthand, describing it as one of the heaviest she has encountered this year.
"Just today, I got caught in one of the heaviest traffics of 2025 😮💨 The holiday rush is real — louder crowds, busier streets, and tougher commutes. It's the kind of day that tests our patience and makes it easy to snap at the people around us," she said.
The Miss Universe 2018 went on to encourage everyone to extend compassion and understanding, especially during stressful moments.
"So here's a gentle reminder to choose kindness, especially toward the strangers we meet 🙏 A little gratitude for those who serve us, a little patience for our Grab Drivers powering through the traffic just for us to arrive at our holiday celebration safe and sound. Also let's appreciate our Grab delivery drivers bringing our meals despite the gridlock. When we make others feel good, we feel good too. And that kindness spreads," she said.
She concluded her message by urging Filipinos to embrace the spirit of bayanihan during the holidays. "Let's brush off the small delays and embrace the spirit of bayanihan this season — lifting one another up to make the holidays warmer and lighter for everyone. Happy Holidays!" she stated.
In time for the holiday season, Catriona recently released a new song titled "Every Christmas" on November 28.
"Dito sa song na ito 'Every Christmas' we're leaning into the sentiment of how does it feel to be alone on Christmas. I think all of us experienced that," she shared in a recent interview with ABS-CBN News.
Catriona released her debut single "Love Language" in 2021.
Before "Love Language," she also released her own rendition of "Raise Your Flag," a song inspired by a statement she made during the Miss Universe 2018 pageant.
