Tears once again filled Bahay ni Kuya as Kapamilya rising actress Eliza Borromeo and Kapuso star Marco Masa became the latest evictees on the second eviction night of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 last November 29.
Eliza burst into tears when she was revealed as the Kapamilya evictee of the night, having shared the nomination with her best friends Carmelle Collado and Krystal Mejes. Despite the heartbreak, the “Determinadong Dilag ng Cavite” chose to express her gratitude after exiting the house.
“Gusto kong mag-thank you sa inyong lahat. Sobrang hindi ko in-expect na susuportahan niyo ‘ko and bibigyan niyo ‘ko ng ganyang klaseng pagmamahal. And super super naa-appreciate ko kayo and promise ko sa inyo na ibabalik ko sa inyo ‘yan. Bibigyan ‘ko rin kayo ng pagmamahal na deserve niyo rin naman,” she said.

Meanwhile, Marco tried to hold back his own emotions when his housemates hugged him one by one after Bianca Gonzalez announced him as the Kapuso housemate evicted for the week. The “Wonder Brother ng Antipolo” later greeted supporters with a big smile once he stepped outside the house, holding on to the gratitude that carried him through his month-long stay.
“I’m back. Nagpapasalamat pa rin ako sa inyong lahat na sa span of a month ng pag-stay ko sa loob [ng bahay ni kuya] sinuportahan niyo ‘ko. At sana hindi ko kayo binigo dahil ‘yun yung goal ko every day,” he said in a post.
“I’ll still be the best for you guys. And I’d like to show rin that I can be a good role model para sa inyo. I love you from the bottom of my heart. I just really wish na I was able to stay para mas maipakilala ko pa sa inyo yung ako na ako lang. Salamat.”
The voting results revealed the tight race. Among the Kapuso housemates, Heath led with 67.78% of votes to save, followed by Anton with 17.37%, while Marco received 14.85%. Over in the Kapamilya housemates, Krystal tallied 48.82%, while Carmelle earned 26.99%, and Eliza closed the ranking with 24.19%.

Inside the house, their closest friends struggled with the outcome. Krystal Mejes shared how proud she was of Eliza, saying, “Eli, she fought so hard para ipakita kung sino siya at kung ano ‘yung pinaglalaban niya. And dun pa lang sobrang proud na proud na ako sa kaniya Kuya.”
For Ashley Sarmiento, Marco’s eviction hit deeply. “Si Marco po kasi siya po talaga ‘yung nakakakilala po sa akin dito. Mula po pagkabata ko po Kuya. Kapag napapagod po ako sa kaniya ko lang po talaga nailalabas Kuya. Kaya hindi ko po alam kung sino po yung makakaintindi po sa nararamdaman ko po gaya po ng pag-iintindi niya po sakin Kuya,” she told Big Brother, unable to hold back her emotions.

Miguel, who previously confessed his feelings to Eliza, also turned to Big Brother to share his thoughts on her exit. “I think you know naman na she’s special to me po Kuya. And I still have a lot of unturned doors po Kuya na I haven’t really said to her or done for her po Kuya,” he admitted, referring to their unresolved issues.
Before the eviction, Eliza and Marco had grown increasingly close, spending time getting to know each other and forming a bond that viewers followed closely. Eliza had shared that Marco was someone she saw as a best friend and even a potential partner, though her unresolved tension with Miguel continued to linger.

Once outside the house, both evictees were welcomed warmly by the hosts. When asked what they would miss most, Eliza pointed to the friendships she built, particularly with Krystal and Carmelle. Marco, meanwhile, said he would miss the laughter and light moments that carried them through the toughest challenges.
As they begin their journey outside Bahay ni Kuya, both Eliza and Marco leave carrying what they repeatedly emphasized throughout the night: gratitude for the supporters who stayed with them every step of the way.
