Kapamilya singer Martin Nievera penned a special message for his youngest child, Santino Nievera, who turned 19 years old earlier this week. In his Instagram post, the celebrity father expressed how proud he is of his son who has been one of his inspirations.
Santino is Martin’s son with his former partner, Katrina Ojeda. He has two other sons, Robin and Ram, whom he shares with ex-wife Pops Fernandez.

“There is not a minute that goes by that I am not worried about you and missing you. I hate that we are apart more than we are together and for this I am sorry,” Martin wrote.
The ASAP mainstay shared a photo of himself and his son in his post. He added in his birthday message how Santino and his older brothers are the reasons behind why he continues to work hard.
“You are my inspiration along with your brothers Robin and Ram! @robinnievera and @ramnievera I push myself to stay alive and work my ass off to hopefully help you three realize your dreams. I believe in you son,” he added.
As Santino turned a year older, the veteran performer is happy to see how he’s turning out to be–– a responsible and patient man.
“You are 19 now and I know you are slowly growing into a responsible and patient man. I thank God for you and your brothers. Happy birthday! @santinonieveraofficial,” he ended.
Friends and fans of Martin sent their birthday greetings and wishes in the comment section of his post.
Previously, the Kapamilya singer opened up about Santino’s Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis. In a Magandang Buhay episode back in 2022, Martin expressed how proud he is of his son who lives abroad.
"I have a special child and I am so proud. So proud and so scared at the same time because I'm not going to be here forever,” Martin maintained.
