Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia brought his signature charm and humor to "It’s Showtime" as he appeared Thursday on the noontime variety program to promote his upcoming film.
Garcia joined the “Laro Laro Pick” segment hosted by Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario to promote the Star Cinema family drama "Meet, Greet & Bye," which is set to hit cinemas on November 12.
Before the segment began, Garcia lightened the mood in the studio with playful banter, joking, “Balita ko mataas daw bigayan dito,” which drew laughter from the hosts and studio audience.
Garcia then took the chance to introduce his new movie, saying: “Yes, ito po inihahandog ng Star Cinema that will bring you close to your family — ‘Meet, Greet, and Bye.’ Kasama ko po dito sila Piolo Pascual, Belle Mariano, Juan Karlos at Maricel Soriano.”
Vice Ganda said those who have seen the film’s advance screening were moved to tears, saying, “Madami na nakapanood ng advance screening, naiyak sila.”
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, "Meet, Greet & Bye" follows the Facundo family, whose four siblings set out to fulfill their cancer-stricken mother's wish to meet her favorite K-drama star.
