Celebrity couple Joyce Pring and Juancho Triviño have inspired many online not just as individuals, but as parents and partners navigating life together.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, they opened up about the lessons they’ve learned about growth, love, and balancing family and work.
Reflecting on their journey, Joyce shared a profound realization about adulting and parenting. “That God uses everything — even the hard days. I used to think growth meant constantly achieving or being successful, but now I realize growth often looks like failing then trying again. Crying then choosing to show up anyway,” Joyce said.
“That’s really what adulting and parenting is all about, knowing that there isn’t a single “peak” that we need to reach. It’s just an ongoing journey of trying to be a better version of ourselves every single day, and to use that growth in order to serve and love others,” she added.
Juancho also shared his perspective on love and relationships. “And love takes work. The magical moments are beautiful, but it’s the everyday choosing — choosing patience, choosing grace, choosing God — that builds a marriage, a family, and a life you’re proud of. You don’t need to be perfect, you just need to keep growing,” he added.
When asked how they manage to balance family, work, and personal time, the couple admitted it’s a continuous learning process. “We’re still learning, to be honest. Some weeks we feel like we got it together, some weeks we’re just surviving — and that’s okay. We talk a lot, we ask each other, “How’s your heart?” and we take turns when one needs rest,” they told PUSH ABS-CBN.
They also emphasized the importance of prioritizing what truly matters. “We’ve learned to protect what matters and to prioritize the important things. When we’re with the kids, we put phones down. When we work, we give our best. And we even schedule our rest because we know it’s also part of the process,” they stated.
For Joyce and Juancho, balance isn’t about perfect schedules but also about teamwork, support, and intention. “Balance for us isn’t perfect scheduling — it’s knowing our priorities and working together as a team so we can lift each other up,” the couple remarked.
Joyce and Juancho tied the knot in 2020 in Pasay City. Originally planning to wed in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, they had to change venues due to the Taal Volcano eruption at the time.
On their first wedding anniversary in February 2021, they announced they were expecting their first child, Alonso Eliam, who was born in July 2021. In 2022, the couple revealed they were expecting again and in April 2023, Joyce gave birth to their second child, Agnes Eleanor.
