Following a series of Instagram Stories, actress and entrepreneur Ellen Adarna responded to a netizen’s question about her relationship with her former partner, actor John Lloyd Cruz.
In one of the videos she shared, Ellen described John Lloyd as a devoted and present father to their son, Elias.
“With JL (John Lloyd), day, wala talaga ako masabi. I have nothing but good things to say about him, you know. We had differences in the past but I respect him because he is a very good provider. He is honest and he is a very present father,” Ellen said.
She added, “Take note na noong naghiwalay kami ni JL that was before Elias turned 1 year old, present siya. Ayon yun.”
This is not the first time Ellen has addressed questions about her relationship with the father of her first child. Previously, she clarified accusations about why she did not marry John Lloyd.
"Daming nag-tag. Kailangan ko na ng Biogesic,” Ellen quipped. “Paano ko pakasalan hindi naman nag-propose?”
Ellen also defended John Lloyd from rumors regarding the actor’s financial status, saying, “And ‘wag mong ismolin si Biogesic (John Lloyd)! Because simple lang siya. Ikaw you don’t know but ang assets no’n, I know you know. And kung maki-Marites ka man lang, at least get everything right like everything. Mahirap naman sabihing un-reliable source, I’m a liar.”
In her newest story, she also shared that she reacted to the allegations and defended John Lloyd who she said will do anything for their child.
“I just reacted to the billionaires and about the father of Elias. Why, di ba? Bakit mo minamaliit?” Ellen said. “He would charter a private plane for Elias during COVID, just to see his son. If you gonna talk about billionaires, private planes.”
Meanwhile, Ellen has recently made buzz online after revealing allegations that her husband, actor Derek Ramsay, had cheated on her.
In her other Instagram Stories, she shared several screenshots and a video explaining how she learned about the issue only a few weeks ago. Ellen expressed how “amazed” she was by what allegedly happened shortly after she and Derek began their relationship.
“Yeah so di ba that was nine days [or] ten days into the relationship. Yes, we were not married at that time yet but if he was able to do that in our honeymoon stage, how much more three months, six months, a year? God knows, right?” she shared.

“Usually, dai yung babaero if they find someone and nasa honeymoon stage, makakalimutan nila yung side chicks nila and they will return to their old ways maybe in a month, but this is nine days,” she added.
Ellen said she has an idea who the alleged third party was, but she would not reveal any name upon the advice of her legal team.
In her latest update, Ellen reshared a post from a netizen who had spoken with Derek about her revelations. In the conversation, the actor denied the allegations and claimed that he and Ellen had been separated for six months.
Ellen responded, “Push mo yan. There's your side. There's my side. And there's SCREENSHOTS WITH TIME AND DATES. Ako pa ung ginawang liar.”

She also posted another exchange showing Derek asking the woman mentioned in Ellen’s screenshots “to come out and tell the truth,” to which Ellen commented, “Awat na uy. Deny till you die. It's your way, your truth and your life.”
As of this writing, Derek has yet to release an official statement.
