Megan Young candidly shared her experience navigating the mix of intense emotions she felt during the first few months after giving birth.

"During the first two months siguro, naramdaman ko 'yung intense sadness, intense emotions, intense happiness," she revealed as reported by Bandera. "Lahat extreme eh so hindi ko napipigilan na parang intensely sobrang saya ko. Sa sobrang saya ako, naiiyak talaga ako."

The actress also admitted there were moments when she suddenly got annoyed with her husband, Mikael Daez. "Nag-joke siya, pumitik ako sa kanya, 'Hindi mo ba alam na ganito-ganyan?' Tapos, after kong masabi 'yun, parang, 'Sorry ha,' kasi hindi ko talaga napipigilan ang emotions ko," she recounted.

Despite these challenges, Megan said Mikael has been her anchor, helping her process the intense emotions she experienced.

"Mikael helps me emotionally. Tinutulungan niya ako na i-process ang lahat ng extreme emotions na na-mention ko kanina. So, if there's something that I have a problem with, before I would hide it from him. But now, I learned from him na, 'Hindi, mag-usap tayo kasi paano magiging maayos ang problema natin kung di natin pag-uusapan, kahit na mahirap,'" she shared.

Megan gave birth to their first child, Leon, on May 20.

In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, Megan spoke about their priorities as new parents, emphasizing the importance of instilling good values in their son.

"I always tell Mikael na one thing that I want to make sure that we give to Leon is we make sure that he is a good person. Kasi doon lahat magsisimula 'yon. You are a good person. You teach them good values, you teach them how to take care of other people in a good way," she highlighted.

She went on: "So for us, it's not about money at the end of the day when it comes to us. We work hard, we earn our money, and we save it. But at the end of the day, it's about being a good person. It's about making sure that you are happy, the people around you are happy. And those are the values that we want to bring. And siyempre ipapakita namin kung ano 'yung mga hindi niya dapat gawin. And we will definitely be there to guide him para hindi siya mapunta sa route na 'yun."

On her dream for her son's future, Megan relayed: "My dream future for Leon is that he gets to do the things that he wants to do. Ayaw ko siyang i-box into something na ayaw niya. ... I want him to excel in something na enjoy niya talaga."
