Charlie Puth revealed that his wife Brooke Sansone will be giving birth early next year.

"We are expecting a baby in March," he said in an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "I'm gonna be a dad. I was told not to reveal the gender."

He added that he hopes his child will inherit his love for music.

"I hope baby likes music because it's the only thing I am good at," he quipped. "I feel like I'm gonna do what my mom did for me. My mom used to put the headphones, it was the ‘90s so the headphones were big, just put them on her tummy. And I think I listen to James Taylor and Luther Vandross, and I got a wide array of music, so I'll do the same thing whether Brooke likes it or not," he said.

Charlie first made the revelation about his wife's pregnancy in the music video for his latest single "Changes," off his new album Whatever’s Clever! which will be released on March 6, 2026.

The singer tied the knot with Brooke in September 2024. The singer took to social media to announce their union at that time.

"I love you Brooke... I always have, with you I am my very best," Charlie wrote on Instagram back in September 2024.

"I promise I’ll love you every day in this life, and even more when we move on to our next. Brooke Ashley Sansone, and now you’ll be Brooke Ashley Puth. Thank you for making me the happiest man alive. It has always been you," he added.

According to a past report by Vogue, the couple's wedding took place at Charlie's family home in Montecito, California.

"We chose the Puth family residence because we just knew Montecito would offer the perfect backdrop," Brooke told the magazine.

She went on: "I wanted our wedding to marry tradition with modern unconventionality. I wanted each detail to feel relaxed yet perfectly, thoughtfully curated. Serving mini hotdogs on silver platters, for example, was more than just a fun detail. It was a reflection of my love for styles that blend the refined with the playful."

Brooke further highlighted that they wanted their wedding ceremony to be "super simple but memorable."

She also recalled how their ceremony went, sharing: "The ceremony was both our favorite part of the whole day, not just for us but for many of our guests as well. Charlie and I were oddly relaxed, and at peace once we were both up there. Having a close friend officiate the wedding made us feel very comfortable."
