Miss Earth Philippines 2025 Joy Barcoma charmed audiences with her fun and creative introduction video for the upcoming Miss Earth 2025 pageant as she showcased not only beauty, elegance, and wit but also unmistakable Filipino humor.
On her social media page, Joy shared the clip that perfectly captured her personality.
“When I said I’ll bring #JoyToTheEarth, I mean it! Here’s my intro video for Miss Earth 2025 🌎,” she wrote in the caption.
In the video, Joy highlighted her playful side, showing off her skills in traditional Filipino games such as Chinese garter and jackstone. She then humorously introduced her “specialty dish”: cooking sausage, much to the amusement of viewers.
“This is Joy. She is Miss Philippines Earth 2025. She grew up very sporty. She also loves to cook for her family,” the video’s narration said.
A government consultant and disaster resilience marketing specialist by profession, Joy also poked fun at her work life by pretending to type random words on her laptop. The Miss Philippines Earth titleholder even added a local twist to her segment, channeling her inner host by using viral Filipino catchphrases like “Ayan!” and “Alright!”
“Aside from her Miss Philippines Earth duties, she also does hosting on the side,” said in the video voice over.
Like many Filipinos, Joy confessed her love for binge-watching. Instead of K-dramas or any series, though, her go-to is Raffy Tulfo in Action, a detail that drew laughter from fans online.
Toward the end of the video, the narrator asked, “What can she do?” to which Joy confidently responded, “Everything.”
The clip has since gone viral, garnering over 2.3 million views, 71,000 reactions, and 8,000 shares on Facebook as of this writing.
Netizens expressed support for Joy and commended her for bringing not only Filipino pride but also humor on the international stage.

Crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2025 last August, Joy will represent the country at the Miss Earth 2025 pageant on November 5 at Okada Manila, as the international competition celebrates its 25th Anniversary in the Philippines.
According to Miss Earth’s official social media post, this year’s theme, “The Silver Lining,” honors the legacy of the Miss Earth organization while shining a spotlight on the Philippines as a global leader in environmental advocacy and eco-tourism.
