It's Showtime host Jhong Hilario made the most out of the recent holiday break by going to New York City with his longtime partner Maia Azores and their daughter Sarina Oceania, whom they were bringing along to the US for the second time. Jhong chronicled their vacation with a 28-minute vlog which they started off by catching the musical Aladdin on Broadway.
In his Instagram post last January 28, Jhong shared,
“It’s Sarina’s second time in New York, but this visit was extra special, it was during Christmas! The city was freezing, snowing, and filled with Christmas magic. Sarina had her first-ever Broadway experience, and we watched one of her favorites, Aladdin. We also had so much fun watching the Rockettes. It was truly a magical experience!”
Jhong and his family also visited various parts of the Big Apple like Chinatown and Little Italy in Manhattan along with their relatives. “Another highlight was riding the @northpoleexpressnyc where Santa and his elves joined us for a ride around New York City. They even served hot chocolate and cookies perfect for the chilly weather!” Jhong added.

To ring in the new year, Jhong and his family flew to Las Vegas, Nevada.
“First time ni Sari sa Las Vegas. I’m sure magugustuhan niya rin dito kasi Las Vegas is Las Vegas. Yung mga ilaw tapos ang daming pupuntahan, madaming mga ganap. Madami siyang puwedeng mapanuod. I’m sure mag-e-enjoy yan, 100%. First time ni Sari mag-nu-new year sa Las Vegas. Actually, first time naming lahat,” he narrated.
The Streetboys member brought their daughter to The Adventuredome theme park at Circus Circus. They also made sure to catch the world-renowned act Cirque du Soleil: Mystère inside the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino.
Before ending his post, Jhong, shared his well wishes for his 2.7M followers. “A fresh start, new goals, and exciting opportunities ahead. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey with us. Sending love and our warmest wishes to all of you for an amazing 2025! Here’s to making it the best year yet!”
Last year was a busy one for the performer-turned-public servant who is currently serving his third term as a councilor in the first district of Makati City. He finally received his Master's degree in Public Administration from the World Citi Colleges and graduated with highest merits after finishing a one-year modular program.
In 2023, Jhong graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Political Science from Arellano University in Manila. "The sacrifices, the sometimes busy-ing busy, and of course the masteral is no joke either. Plus the things we still do as councilors and artists as well, are mine as long as they are there, until there is an opportunity to go nang go," he told ABS-CBN News.
