Kristel Fulgar took to social media to pen a message for her Korean boyfriend, Ha Su-hyuk, as the latter celebrated his birthday.
"Happy birthday, my love ❤️ I never thought I could be this happy until I met you. Thank you for being my peace and pathing (안식처)," she posted on her Instagram page as she shared snapshots of the different moments they shared for the past year.
Kristel added: "I will keep loving you for the rest of my life 🥰."
Fans online were quick to react to Kristel's post.

"Happy Birthday Su-hyuk. You both deserve all the love in the world ❤️ We are so happy for you guys," another fan wrote.
Kristel also recently celebrated her birthday.
"Feeling so loved and grateful! 🥰✨ A well spent birthday 🎂 Thanks to all your kind greetings 🫶🏻❤️," Kristel posted on social media as she shared her birthday celebration with Su-hyuk and their friends in Korea.
It was in November when Kristel announced that Su-hyuk has become her boyfriend.
"Words can't fully capture the happiness I'm feeling in this moment. I've never known a love like this before, it fills me with peace," the actress said about her relationship with Su-hyuk.
She added: "For the first time, I truly feel whole, as though I've finally found the missing piece of my heart."
Kristel revealed that it took almost one year before she said yes to be in a relationship with Su-hyuk.
Kristel recalled that last January on Su-hyuk's birthday, the latter asked her to be his girlfriend, but she refused. She recounted: "Despite the growing affection I feel for him, I find myself unable to commit because of our differences in religious beliefs. It hurt both of us but despite the rejection, he remained respectful and patient, waiting for the right time to come."
Following Su-hyuk's baptism with Iglesia Ni Cristo church, he asked Kristel again if he could be her boyfriend. The actress said yes.
"The first man I ever said 'I love you' to is none other than my first boyfriend," Kristel remarked.
