BB Gandanghari took to social media to share images from her trip to Taiwan with her mother, Eva Cariño, and her brother Robin Padilla and his family.
On her Instagram, BB posted a video of their family taking Eva on a stroll, captioning it, “Mama and her crew💯😂.”
In the video, BB can be seen pushing her mother’s wheelchair while Robin filmed the moment.
“Guess where kung nasaan si Mama. Aba! Ito ang first trip ni Mama ever since a long time ago. Nandito siya sa icnic building ng Taiwan, ang World Trade Center. Excited si Mama kanina. Noong nabuksan ko iyong curtain, napa-wow si Mama. Building pa lang,” BB said in the video.
BB shared another video showing how they kept her happy while exploring different places in Taiwan.
“#Entourage: where mama goes, everybody goes💕✈️ Thank you, our Lord Almighty Father, for this blessing 🙏,” BB wrote.
In the video, Robin can be seen pushing their mother’s wheelchair while BB playfully teased them.
“Ito ang entourage ni Mama led by the senator himself. Siya ang Chief of Staff ni Mama. ang Chief of Staff ni Mama ay senator,” she said which made them laugh.
Robin’s daughters with Mariel Rodriguez, Gabriella and Isabella, also surprised their grandmother with a warm welcome, chanting and presenting her with flowers.
“#BetterTogether - Mama’s delight 💯❣️ Her grandchildren’s warm embrace 🙏🛫,” she said.
Also joining the trip were Robin’s other daughters, Queenie, Zhen Zhen, and Kylie Padilla. Kylie was also with her two sons, Alas and Axl.
“I’m big on family. I’m big on travel. I’m even bigger on family travels 💕,” Mariel wrote in a post showing snaps from their vacation.
Kylie then commented, “Thank you tita for another epic family trip 🥰🤍.”
In a previous interview with Boy Abunda, BB revealed that her mother sometimes forgets things due to her age.
“It wasn't even a surprise to me anymore. Kasi every time I would talk to her on the phone, she would ask 'yung caregivers niya ‘Sino siya?’ And it would break my heart. I would tell my friends sa Amerika na, I think it's the most painful na 'yung 'pag sinabi ng mama mo na, ‘Sino ka?’” BB shared.
BB, now residing in Los Angeles as an American citizen, is studying at a film school. She visited the Philippines last September due to her mother’s condition and decided to spend her birthday with her family.
“Nandito ako last September because noon, si Mama kasi nag-deteriorate. So, hindi na siya masyadong nagsasalita. So, sabi ko, ‘Teka, uuwi ako.’ Si Robin naman sabi niya, ‘Sige, umuwi ka rito, dito ka na lang mag-birthday,” BB recalled.
