Actress Yasmien Kurdi shared that she will be meeting with Department of Education Secretary Sonny Angara to discuss some strategies on anti-bullying inside learning institutions. The celebrity mom made sure to use her platform to try and solve the bullying problem that several children are facing–– including her own child.
It was earlier this month when Yasmien revealed that her daughter, Ayesha, was a victim of alleged bullying by her classmates.

The Kapuso actress expressed her gratitude to everyone who opened up about their own experiences when it comes to bullying. In her Instagram Stories, she made sure to give an update on what her next steps will be.
“I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you who has reached out to share your stories about your children facing bullying. Your bravery in opening up means so much to me, and it’s a reminder of the challenges so many families are facing,” she shared.
She assured her followers that she’ll be using their experiences as a tool for the strategies that she’ll be thinking up with the Secretary of the Department of Education.
“Hearing your experiences has truly touched my heart. I want you to know that your voices are being heard. It’s heartbreaking to think of our little ones struggling, and together, we can make a difference,” she added.

“This Thursday, I’ll be meeting with the Secretary of the Department of Education Sonny Angara to discuss potential solutions and strategies in our schools. Your stories will guide this important conversation, and I promise to use my platform to advocate for meaningful change,” she continued.
While her meeting is set to happen later this week, Yasmien vowed to be at the forefront of the anti-bullying campaign to help not only her child but also children who are scared to speak up.
“Together, we can shine a light on this issue and empower our kids to stand strong. Let’s fight bullying and protect our children,” she ended.
