Former Miss Universe Runner-up Venus Raj just celebrated her first wedding anniversary with her husband, events photographer North Orillan. The beauty queen took to her Instagram to express how happy she has been over the past year.
Venus and North first met in 2018 but only began their love story in 2022 after meeting again at a wedding.
“Husband, one year has passed by so quickly. In the many lessons that God is teaching us and is allowing us to experience, one thing really stood out - I genuinely feel that we are one, that we are in one team, and that you always put my well being first,” she wrote.
The beauty queen turned host revealed how emotional she became as she penned her heartfelt letter to her husband. She expressed that the love she receives from him is the type of love she wanted.
“As I am typing this I am tearing up, because God knows that this is exactly how I wanted to be loved. You are doing well, My Love. in being a husband, a friend, and a leader to me,” she added.
“I respect you with all of my life. ❤️ Happy Anniversary Love,” she ended.

Previously, Venus recalled how their love story happened quickly: they became a couple after just two months.
“I think it was during that time when we started having deeper conversations. And hanggang after the wedding, nag-continue 'yung communication na 'yon,” she recalled.
