MANILA -- After the success of her psychological horror thriller movie "Deleter," Actress Nadine Lustre once again starred in a horror-themed movie "Nokturno."

According to the actress, she enjoys the process of doing horror films.

"Sobra po," the actress said in an interview with the press during the cinema screening of "Nokurno" over the weekend.

"Favorite genre ko talaga is horror, so parang aside from manunuod ako ng mga horror movies, natatakot ako sa mga horror movie, at least this time around kasama na ako sa istory no'n," she added.

In addition to enjoying the process of making horror films, the actress revealed that she showcases a different side of her acting talent.

"Ang fun niya kasi sobrang interesting 'yung process niya parang I mean aside from the usual process of film making, for 'Nokturno' marami rin prostethic. Tapos gustung-gusto ko rin 'yung sinasabi ni Direk na wala kaming kabatuhan ng eksena, alam mo 'yung mga scenes na ganun, iyun 'yung tinatakot lang namin ang sarili namin just to bring the scene alive. So sobrang interesting talaga siya sa akin and I really loved the setting na alam mo 'yung sa 'Deleter' office setting, ito naman sa 'Nokturno,' bahay so parang gustong-gusto ko 'yung nata-transform talaga into something creepy and something eerie or mahilig lang talaga ako sa horror films," she explained.

Comparing the two horror films "Deleter" and "Nokturno," Lustre admits she was much more challenged in filming the latter.

"Honestly, 'yung 'Deleter' kasi sobrang contained ng location namin, bihira lang kami lumabas ng scenes namin and 'yung set doon lang sa office, so I guess, mas madali 'yun. Pero ito kasing sa 'Nokturno' ang daming elements, parang ang dami namin eksena sa labas so siyempre shooting is a bit different pero hindi naman siya naging mahirap. Pero different conditions, kaya definitely mas challenging itong 'Nokturno,'" she said.

And as she starred in two different horror projects, the actress also reacted to being tagged as the next horror queen.

"I'm happy and honored. Pero, parang two films pa lang naman kasi and i feel like it's too early. I don't know, pero kung gusto niyo akong tawaging 'Horror Queen', its okay and thank you,"  the actress said in jest.

"Nokturno" is under the direction of Mikhail Red and is now available for streaming on Prime Videos.
