"Tawag Ng Tanghalan' alumnus Sofronio Vasquez won the Battles round of "The Voice USA" against Aliyah Khaylyn
Vasquez and Khaylyn emotionally performed a duet of Celine Dion's "The Power of Love" during The Voice Battles but in the end, coach Michael Bublé picked Sofronio.
"Sofronio is impossible not to pick. He is humble, kind and one of the most gifted vocalists I have ever heard," Bublé said after picking the Filipino singer.
Sofronio also expressed his gratitude to Bublé for believing in him.
"He believed in me wholeheartedly. Thank you so much, coach Michael," Vasquez said.
Meanwhile, Khaylyn will continue her "The Voice USA" journey after Snoopdogg used one of his steals during the Battles.
In his social media accounts, Sofronio also shared behind-the-scenes footage from his Battles Round.
Last month, Sofronio wowed the judges in the latest season of "The Voice" USA, with all four chairs turning during his blind auditions.
